Patient population: Adult and Geriatric
The Clinical Nurse is a key member of the surgical team who functions in a circulating and scrubbing
capacity. Services lines we provide include: General surgery, urology, ophthalmology, podiatry, pain and
endoscopy procedures. Our nurses provide specialized care for all these services.
The Surgical Services department has 2 operating rooms and a procedure room. We provide mostly
outpatient procedures with limited inpatient. We provide care to patients ages 16 and older.
Minimum 2-5 year of experience – Required
Scrubbing and Circulating experience – Required
Experience working in a smaller OR facility – Required
Phase I/PACU experience – Required
MULTIPLE SURGICAL EXPERIENCE – Required
CERNER EMR EXPERIENCE – Required
Travel experience – Highly preferred
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
ACLS (AHA)
BLS (AHA)
